Summary 0012150: Torpor snail not slowing player
Description In some circumstances the player can be in LOS of a torpor snail without receiving the slow effect of the snail. I believe this is due to the snail being a shape shifter which shifted into a torpor snail while already in LOS. Possibly relevant, I'm also a demonspawn with Nightstalker 3, so there may be some weird interference there.

For reference, some text log with no mention of becoming slowed:

The anaconda changes into a torpor snail!
 You slice the stone giant!! You burn the stone giant.
 The stone giant is heavily wounded.
 Your phantasmal warrior blinks!
 The stone giant completely misses you.
 The titan hits your phantasmal warrior!!

Perhaps this is intended behavior? After a few turns being in LOS of the snail I got this message:

_Being near the torpor snail leaves you feeling lethargic.

Still seems strange to me that the behavior of shifted snails is different than the behavior of actual snails, which as far as I know immediately slow the player upon being in LOS.
