Summary | 0012133: Mouse doesn't work in skill menu in widonws offline tiles
Description | In 0.25-a0-156-g0c4bda3 windows offline tiles, mouse doesn't work at all for selecting/focusing skills in the 'm' skill screen. The skills are highlighted when mouse is over them, but clicking does nothing. Keyboard works fine. I have tried a few other screens (ability, inventory, spells, spell library) and mouse works fine in those.

And by the way, just wondering, is there a reason why the skill screen highlights the item that is moused over in red colour (not just a red frame but full red rectangle)? It feels inconsistent with the other screens which mostly (all?) have light grey frame and grey rectangle when mousing over items. |

Thanks for the bug report! Fixed at https://github.com/crawl/crawl/commit/b7fd73da8f16 [^] Yeah, there's a reason: the skills screen is still using the old pre-0.21 code, with the new popup drawn behind it. So there's a lot of subtle bugs with it, both genuine bugs and design inconsistencies. This is also the reason why the skills screen is shown in console style on webtiles. The other main screen like this is the local tiles doll editor (which thankfully has no webtiles/console version to worry about). We'd like to improve both of these screens, but it's a fair amount of tedious work, and there are bigger fish to fry. |
