| Description |
Unable to see the quotes from quotes.txt when examining [xv] a dungeon feature such as a portal or wall. For example, a standard dungeon wall has a quote in quotes.txt indexed as "A rock wall", but it doesn't appear when I examine a wall. I see this behavior on the current dev branch using my local copy from source and also on WebTiles. |

My research shows this bug was caused by 36a14b339e7e6123cd92 on local console and tiles, while on WebTiles it first occurs in version 0.22 (which predates 36a14b33) |

Sorry for not replying to your earlier IRC message; totally missed it! The problem is that describe_feature_wide() never fetches or adds the feature quote to the UI layout. I'd suggest appending the quote string directly to inf.body.str(), since the new feature description UI shows a stack of tiles and descriptions (e.g. feature, cloud, halo/umbra) and the quote should be kept with its feature. |
