Summary 0011489: Error message when autofighting with polearms
Description The pictured error message is sometimes displayed when autofighting with polearms. It is fairly rare, but would happen multiple times during a run based on polearms.

 I should note that this doesn't appear to affect gameplay at all.

 I'm still not sure exactly what causes this (beyond that it's some flavor of calling crawl.do_commands when there is pending input already), but it might just be mashing keys too fast. https://github.com/crawl/crawl/commit/461d14e83c155adfa63b9a31ac5db4d7572cf030 [^] will hopefully change the error message to one that is less oblique, but until I know how to replicate it I don't know how to keep this from being an error of some kind.

 One factor in this may be lag in online play (which would explain why it's so hard to replicate locally).
