Summary 0011321: Autoexplore reports an unvisited transporter that cannot be found
Description This is mainiacjoe's TrFi^Ru on CAO 0.20.

Attached is a screenshot showing both the only portion of the transporter vault that I can see and the minimap.

It appears to be an Abyss-themed map. I have no desire to visit it, but it appears that the level-building algorithm didn't give access to the entrance tranporter.

"Unvisited transporter" does NOT appear on Ctrl-O. But autoexplore says, "partly explored, unvisited transporter." Ctrl-F "transporter" yields no results.

Have you checked you have found every upstair and downstair on that floor? It may just be that the entrance to this transporter vault is simply disconnected from the rest of the floor. (There are always exactly 3 up and downstairs on each floor.)

Good idea. The current floor has three upstairs (all taken) and three downstairs not including hatches. The floor above has three downstairs (all taken) not including hatches. I've not explored the floor below yet and will update when I do.

I'm afraid that on the floor below, I find three already-explored upstairs (no asterisk). The vault in question is on U:3. U:4 has no uphatch, and U:2 has no downhatch.

So it seems that autoexplore reports transporters that it knows are on the floor but the player hasn't seen, which is a bug.

The transporter entrance is probably in a disconnected area which may or may not have a hatch. You can map the floor if you have any scrolls of magic mapping, which might be able to show exactly what is going on.

I did map, and it is an isolated area that contains an uphatch and a down hatch. But again, each floor above and below has three explored stairs to this level, and no hatches to this level. I'm guessing the level generator and/or the vault code let both of those staircases be hatches when at least one needs to be a real staircase.
