Summary 0010777: petrified snakes can constrict
Description My view of constriction is that it is an active process, happening on each turn (and requiring motion), but perhaps this is not the case...

This specifically (constriction continuing when petrified, but not when asleep/paralysed) is intentional:

05:22:24 <headzone> should constriction still occur when the constrictor is petrified
05:40:04 <kilobyte> headzone: I made it so constriction is stopped by paralysis (you lose control over your muscles, loosening them) but not by petrification (you were already in position, and now there is a tight loop of stone around the victim)
05:40:15 <kilobyte> no one complained, so I guess that's ok

Could definitely argue the merits of that remaining as a thing though, will leave open for the moment.

Seems like an unintuitive difference to have to remember.

Seems perfectly intuitive to me :)
