In this real-life example the player tries to cast fire storm and the game auto targets the *, which will not hit the U without a radius 3 explosion (default being 2).#....#...# #.....#*..# ........#.. ..#...#.#.. ..@.....U.. #.......... While I'm here, I'd like to complain further. So often when you are firing fire storm at a group of things one beyond max range it will default to an extremely inefficient spot, for example: .....oooooo ...*....... ........... ........... ........... ........... .....@..... Fire storm will daintily target itself to kill the orc on the end of the row missing all of the others. |
