0009810: Double prompt when casting a spell that would hit self and ally
When casting a spell (e.g. fireball) that would hit yourself AND an ally, two prompts appear, even if the first prompt would cancel casting.
First, "That beam is likely to hit you. Continue anyway?"
Even if you answer "no," a second prompt appears: "Really fire at your ____?"

For an example, cast fireball at the wisp directly north of the player in this save.

Sometimes not hitting your allies is more important than not hitting yourself, especially when trying not to anger your god, so there's a good reason to ask twice

Yes, but by answering "No" to the first prompt, the casting is canceled anyway. Therefore there should be no reason to ask again. If I'd answered "Yes" to the first prompt, then of course I should be prompted about hitting an ally.

But what if you haven't realized you're gonna hit an ally
hence the prompt

He means that it doesn't matter that you would have hit allies if you cancelled the spell already.
