0008275: Place:Foo skeleton seems to ignore M_NO_SKELETON
Encountered a corner-case Vampire Mosquito Skeleton in a D:15 vault. Shows up in the dump: http://dobrazupa.org/morgue/silentsnack/morgue-silentsnack-20140311-171910.txt [^]

Guess it's a bug (heh) since mosquitoes are flagged 'no skeleton' but it is not absurd that [whatever litters the dungeon with undead] might rarely find an intact arthropode exoskeleton/husk to reanimate just for the novelty. Not absurd, just silly.

Though a unique spider with an army of undead bugs might be amusing.

Certainly would seem to be a bug since those are indeed marked M_NO_SKELETON.

Fun fact, though: insect skeletons used to exist in Crawl for exactly the reasoning that you just gave.

Wizmode of &mPlace:Spider skeleton pretty reliably creates skeletons of spiders, which should not be possible, so I'm betting that's the problem here.

Fixed in trunk (0.16-a0-1031-g5b9bb91), thanks!

However, this does mean "place:Spider skeleton" will now give you random skeletons when it fails to find a skeletonisable monster in the Spider list.
