I frequently have 10-15 items in my shopping list, particularly if I find a shop of books, scrolls, or potions. So I would absolutely hate the spam caused by this. Particularly the mess that would re-spam after every time I spent money.

The only way to have people not Hate this feature would be to provide an extra option users can set to set the level of shopping spam they get. At which point, this feature causes a lot of UI changes and user tweaking tools.

Hard pass.

How exactly is this a message spam? I fail to see any other meaning of the proposal except the following one: you get notified when you lose your horns or antennae while having a helmet on shopping list. It's like 0.1 messages per game. (Maybe more if you worship bad Jiyva?) Just make sure message doesn't activate upon form change.

I still think the proposal doesn't deserve to live. It's simply better to say every time you lose horns "You can wear helmets again."

john_science's reply seeems to be about the existing notifications that are got on being able to afford items (since they produce a re-notification every time you spend and regain money)... except they already exist.

(Given the volume of such notifications, this proposal seems harmless to me...)
