 Fixed in trunk (0.16-a0-4040-g1cbb700), thanks! Now lava- and water-bound creatures cannot be trampled onto dry land (but amphibious creatures can).

It's still possible to wind up with a lava snake on dry land with Tornado, so the missing corpse tile is still an issue.
