Even though the brand on projectiles overrides the brand on ranged weapons (or cancels it out, in the case of fire/ice), Dithmengos is still angered by the use of a fire-branded weapon - even though the actual attack is not in the end fire-based. <img src="http://i.imgur.com/qbTThNE.png></img> [^] |

Seems to have been fixed by the ranged_combat changes, or possibly by something else. In fact, Dith doesn't mind if you fire a bolt from a flaming launcher at all unless it hits a monster, which might be its own bug. |
