Summary 0006850: cTele ring doesn't ID
Description I had an unknown ring and amulet on, cast Blink (checking for stasis). I got a semi-controlled blink, but the ring did not ID. took off the amulet, repeat, take off ring, blink, put on, blink, still no ID.

I also tried walking into a teleport trap with the ring, controlled the teleport, still no ID.

 SamB suggested this is an Octopode-related bug. putting the ring on the 'right tentacle' (as opposed to one of the random ones) worked.

 Empirically, this seems to be an octopode-related bug, though I can't see how that should be from the code ...

 The ring of fire protection you're wearing seems to not have ISFLAG_KNOW_PROPERTIES. That causes _maybe_id_jewel to think that the =rF might have cTele, and therefore should block identification of the =TC.

 Fixed in trunk (0.13-a0-96-gf28b45c), thanks. Now we check whether the other ring's *type*, rather than artefact properties, is known. We do continue to check artefact properties on artefacts if those properties are relevant to the identification (not in this particular case because there is no cTele artefact property).
