Summary 0006280: Self-targeting with tome of destruction allows 0-time cancel
Description If you read a tome of destruction and then target a dangerous spell such that it will hurt you you get the option to cancel the spell. If you choose to cancel in this way it takes no time (and you are free to read the tome again, so this is a way to partially eliminate undesired spell choices).

Canceling the spell without targeting it takes time, as it should.
