Oooh, that actually looks pretty good. My only question is how well does it hold up to the metal wall recolouring? Would it be possible that you could split this out from the wall and make it into a 32x32 transparent PNG instead, and we could then apply it after the recolouring so that all metal walls can get rust?

Actually, I'm not sure if we do any metal wall recolouring, but it seems like a good idea.

due: we can do that ourselves if it's to any degree non-trivial to LordBistian. I may not be able to draw my way out of a wet paper bag, but mechanical and automated changes are something on ours, not the artists', side of the aisle.

I added a rust-only version anyway.

I've attached some "end" tiles for metal walls, and a mockup. I really like the way they look in conjunction with the metal block tiles.

Added metal floor and two possible vault layouts.

Hmm... I think for the larger (floor or wall) tiles, the patterns are too regular. It makes sense for a metal plate to start rusting from the edges or at least be more likely to rust at the bolts. This is the case for the tile featuring the smaller plates (where it does, indeed, look awesome).

However, for the large ones (both floor and wall) you'd need a different type of overlay where the rust eats from edges/bolts towards the centre.

Long obsoleted.
