Summary 0002748: Autoexplore gives incorrect completion messages with disjointed areas
Description When a map has disjointed segments, autoexplore stops with a misleading "done exploring" message when in a fully explored segment even if known disjointed segments aren't fully explored. It should instead prompt to travel through staircases if possible, else give the "partly explored" message.

A cao player had a great deal of trouble finding the temple a couple weeks back because of this, as the path was in an overlooked corner of a level the game claimed was cleared.

IMO, a better solution than prompting to move through staircases would be to just have a different message; rather than fully/partly explored, say something about there being more stairs on the level.

Since the number of regular stairs on each level is no secret, autoexplore could also let you know if it has not seen the expected number. That would make the player aware of disjoint levels where they have never seen the other part of the level.
