Seems like there's a 6.5% chance of no levitation item in this bailey (there could be a ring instead of potions). bailey_axe_3 is even worse, with no levitation items and a rather high chance that the entry room will be cut off from the rest by deep water. |

Is this a bug or an intended feature of these maps?
Might be worth changing either way, but I never thought of this as a bug. It's similar in principle to that overflow altar that is surrounded by water/lava. |

It is intentional, although the status has been moving: originally, the river bailey gave you either potions or the ring. Then someone decided that we don't have to be that nice -- we can expect a bailey stormer to have one of blink, teleport, levitation.
So it is not a bug but you can change status quo if you like. |

There's also a bailey *entry* vault which often requires a means of crossing deep water, but does not provide it. |

If anything I'd say having entry vaults that require a means of crossing deep water would be better than the same thing but inside the portal itself - once you've found and made it into the portal, it seems good to always let you (attempt to) clear the whole portal. |

_axe_3 no longer generates water at the entrace, _axe_4 now always provides either the ring or some potions of flight. |
