Summary | 0012217: AC prediction in item description for Lear's Hauberk is misleading | |||||||||||
Description |
When you examine armour you are not wearing, you see a message such as If you switch to wearing this armour, your AC will increase by 24 (21 -> 45). If you examine Lear's Hauberk, the message appears to simply compare your current body armour with the Hauberk, without accounting for the fact that the Hauberk must displace your gloves, boots, and helmet. Therefore the second number (after the ->) may be an AC you cannot actually attain. If you are currently wearing auxiliary armour, then the line "your AC will increase by x" is misleading at best, and the parenthetical remark does not describe the change that will actually happen. |
