I ticked off Okawaru with a massive butterfly barbeque, and went into penance. However, I still have access to Heroism and Finesse, which I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to have. They are not on the ability menu when I press "a", but the menu above the inventory list has them, and they're perfectly usable.
