I'm afraid I'm not fond about this one. It doesn't even look like a star, more like some random glitter of light.

I guess I could change the bottom half of this tile to make it look like the traditional 5-pointed star, would that work?

EDIT: Another idea - the sprite could be animated so that it twinkles

I like the concept myself, but it seems a little... plain compared with most of the other tiles. Using a 4-pointed star is a great idea, though, as it gives a cross-like look...

What about something more like the invulnerability star in SMB3?

My suggestion would be to keep the four-pointed star, but add a second many-pointed star behind it in a canary-yellow-y shade.

I'd also consider investigating whether you could make it look more silver-y with a gradient.
